This gorgeous blonde was purchased at a local auction. Her wig was coming off and was starting to come apart, so off she went to Wanda Houke for a re-do. This fantastic doll was purchased from Gidget Donnelly in New Jersey. She is the original Miss Venus, a one-of-a-kind doll used for a fashion show done by Mary Hoyer for the Ladies Auxilary of Reading in 1955.
